Honored Senator Brownback,
In the name of the Social Democratic Party of Iran, I thank you for your
engagements for the interests of my country and the democratic efforts in Iran.
Without doubt, for the last 25 years a fascist clerical system is in power in
Iran. This regime must be removed because of all crimes it has committed in the
last 25 years. The majority of the Iranian people want this system to end. Your
intention and idea to no longer keep this regime in power, concurs with the will
of my people and also the will of the Iranian opposition forces. The Iranian
people had a lot of victims in the last 25 years confronting this terror regime.
In the prisons of Iran, men and women are raped, tortured and executed. This
system has violated the dignity of man and humanity. Terror and terrorism are
nationalized and all terrorist Islamic groups all over the world are supported
by this system with logistics and money. The assassination of Iranian and also
Israeli citizens is also a crime of this regime. The criminals in power must be
removed. Peace, democracy and a constitutional state should replace this system.
Therefore, I ask you not to undertake a military action against Iran. Support
the Iranian opposition who wants to construct a democratic country. In order to
achieve these goals, to construct a democratic country, we require support and
solidarity for the Iranian nation.
Honored Senator, you know that the majority of the Iranian people love America
and its people. A military action to remove the regime would represent an
immense number of victims under the civilian population, above all women and
children. If civilians are killed and become homeless, if epidemics break out
because of a war, the plans of the Iranian opposition to promote the democracy
in Iran would be endangered and the population would turn against America.
Very honored Senator, your proposal for a foundation of 50 million dollars for
the dismissal of the regime was refused by the Senate Foreign Relations
Committee. Please remember that initially 11 billion dollar of Iranian capital,
now a days with interests about 25 billion dollars, have been blocked for the
last 25 years by your country. The American government could release this money,
so that we can use it to remove the current regime. Our proposal is that this
money is distributed to the democratic Iranian parties, so we can promote a new
Iran.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. D. Madani
Chairman

Dr. Madani:
Assuming that the American government has the legal right to take the money of
the people of Iran and distribute the money to Iranians living outside of Iran,
exactly how would you distribute the money? How much would you give to the MEK,
monarchists, and to all other Iranian groups claiming to promote democracy in
Iran?
